Establishment of a network of separate collection of biowaste stream in the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Procurement of proper equipment for the establishment of a separate biowaste collection network in the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands and respectively, procurement of garbage trucks to ensure the separate collection of biowaste stream.

More specifically, the project will include the procurement of:

• • 426.133 biodegradable bags, with a capacity of 10 liters and a thickness of at least 14 microns.
  • 3.800 plastic biowaste bins for kitchen food scraps, 10-liter capacity with lid and handle.
  • 1.800 plastic household composting bins, with a capacity of at least 280 liters with a plastic lid and ventilation holes on the side walls.
  • 1.000 plastic bins (brown) for the biowaste stream, with a capacity of 660 liters with a foot lever to open the lid.
  • one (1) press-type garbage truck with a capacity of approximately 16 cubic meters with a GPS system installed to locate the vehicle.
  • one (1) garbage truck with a rotating drum-type superstructure, with a capacity of approximately 8 cubic meters with a GPS system installed to locate the vehicle.
  • two (2) garbage trucks with a rotating drum-type superstructure, with a capacity of approximately 12 cubic meters with a GPS system installed to locate the vehicle.
