Establishment of a network of separate collection of recyclable paper (excluding packaging) in the Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Procurement of proper equipment for the establishment of a separate paper-cardboard collection network (e.g. newspapers, cardboard, cartons, letterheads, magazines, catalogs, books, greeting cards, etc. but excluding packaging) in the Municipality of Central Corfu & Diapontian Islands and respectively, procurement of garbage trucks to ensure the separate collection of paper-cardboard.

More specifically, the project will include the procurement of:

• • 600 plastic bins (yellow), with a capacity of 660 liters with a foot lever to open the lid.
  • 500 plastic bins (yellow), with a capacity of 1.100 liters with a foot lever to open the lid.
  • one (1) press-type garbage truck with a capacity of approximately 16 cubic meters with a GPS system installed to locate the vehicle.
  • one (1) press-type garbage truck with a capacity of approximately 20 - 22 cubic meters with a GPS system installed to locate the vehicle.
  • one (1) open garbage truck 4 - 5 m3, which will collect the paper from the large producers (businesses - hotels - public services - education, etc. ) and unload them on the larger vehicles.
